Many changes have taken place in the life of Pursuit Brittanys. We moved our kennel to Gallatin, TN in 2018 after many years in Central Florida.
In 2016, Pursuit’s Spotlight (Happy) placed 3rd in the ABC Eastern Futurity All Age Stake. Happy has 6 points toward her AKC Field Championship. Her sire and dam are NAFC/FC/AFC Piney Run Sam and FC Pursuit’s Flashy Chick. She is retired from competition. Happy has produced one show champion which was from her only litter. She was bred by Pursuit Brittanys and like her name is very, very happy everyday!
In 2019, Pursuit’s Broadway Glitz (Betsy) placed 1st in the ABC Eastern Futurity All Age Stake. She joined Burchett’s Bird Dogs field trial string in the summer of 2020. Betsy competes primarily in Open All Age stakes. She was bred by Kim Tafton. Betsy is out of our bitch, FC Pursuit’s Flashy Chick that we had leased to Ms. Trafton. Her sire is FC Broadway Joe VI. She has competed in both gun dog and all age stakes in her field trial career and has 6 points towards her AKC Field Championship.
In 2020, Pursuit’s Li’l Phoenix (Phoebe) placed 2nd in the ABC Eastern Futurity All Age Stake, and a 3rd in the accompanying Conformation Show. Phoebe joined Burchett’s Bird Dogs field trial string in the summer of 2020. She competes in Open Gun Dog stakes.
In February 2022, Phoebe finished her AKC Field Championship and won the 2022 Prairie State Brittany Championship Association’s Shooting Dog Championship making her a first time American Field Champion. Both accomplishments were only weeks after she turned four years old. She then went on to be Runner-Up in the International Brittany Championship to the 2021 National Gun Dog Champion. She was named 2021 Field Dog of the Year for the Mid-Florida Brittany Club. Phoebe was bred by Beverly Haynes.
